- To strengthen academic collaboration between Northwestern Polytechnical University (NPU), Xi’an, and the University of Lleida (UdL) through faculty, student, and researcher exchanges.
- To promote joint research efforts in discrete mathematics, an area in which NPU and UdL are internationally recognized.
- To identify shared research priorities, including collaborative PhD programs, visiting research opportunities, co-publications, etc.
